A fair trial for Andrea Sneiderman?

Beginning Monday, attorneys will interview 283 potential jurors and possibly 300 more could be called in an effort to seat an impartial jury.

Jury selection began Monday in Decatur in the trial of the Dunwoody widow accused of conspiring with her former boss to kill her husband outside a Dunwoody daycare in 2010.

Three different murder charges against Sneiderman, 37, were formally dropped on Friday, but Sneiderman still faces 13 lesser charges, including four counts of perjury, seven counts of making false statements and a count of hindering the apprehension of a criminal and concealment of material fact.

The highly publicized case has attracted national coverage and the defendant’s attorney has commented that because of the significant news coverage, it will be difficult for Sneiderman to receive a fair trial.
