Skimmer Device Found on Dunwoody ATM Machine

Skimmers swipe card information when you insert the card into the device.

Be careful out there. Dunwoody Police removed a skimming device from the ATM at Sun Trust Bank, at 4525 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, on Sunday, according to the police Facebook Page.

Krebs on Security blogs says The U.S. Secret Service estimates that annual losses from ATM fraud totaled about $1 billion in 2008, or about $350,000 each day.
