Dunwoody Blockbuster Set to Close in April

Store no longer doing rentals, starting to sell off merchandise. Closest Blockbuster now in Sandy Springs

Dunwoody’s last remaining Blockbuster Video will shutter its doors in Mid-April.

The store, at 1575 Mt. Vernon Rd., has already pared down its selection of DVDs and video games and began selling off merchandise Friday.

A corporate spokesperson with Blockbuster said the store will be closing in mid-April, but declined to give any information about how many employees the store has, and whether they would be reassigned to other stores.
