ReplyOn a local and practical level, I trust the Archdiocese of Atlanta Priests and personnel. Their Office of Child & Youth Protection and their Safe Environment practices are active and apparent throughout the Archdiocese.

ReplyYou can also bring your food donations to the Sandy Springs Farmer's Market. The CAC has started a new "Shop & Drop" program there, so look for their table and the bin to put your donations in!

ReplyYep! The Ignatius House offices are open form 7:30 to 4 during the week. Just stop by and sign in, and they'll give you a map and a tour, if you'd like. Visiting on weekends isn't recommended because often there's a silent retreat and visitors can be a distraction. You can always call them at 404.255.0503 before you stop by!

ReplyIgnatius House is truly a beautiful place in Sandy Springs! On 20+ acres on the Chattahoochee River on Riverside Drive, they have beautiful trails and tons of benches to sit and enjoy- you can just stop by, visit the office and then explore the grounds. They also have silent weekend retreats if you really need to unplug and slow down! Check out www.ignatiushouse.org.
