A Marietta man was killed by a Dunwoody police officer after a chase.
Posted at 1:42 PM - An eyewitness to last night's chase that led to the shooting of a 34-year-old Marietta man by Dunwoody Police told Dunwoody Patch her account, which is in line with an official statement by police. The eyewitness, who didn't want to be named, was driving near the Ashford Dunwoody and Meadow Lane intersection on the way home from an appointment at the hospital around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night. As she waited at the intersection with her 6-year-old child, she saw blue lights in her rearview mirror - and then a minvan driving recklessly with a white male inside.
