Andrea Sneiderman is still charged with malice murder and felony charges in connection with the 2010 shooting death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman.
A DeKalb County Superior Judge Gregory Adams dismissed four non-murder charges against Andrea Sneiderman on May 1 in connection with the 2010 Dunwoody daycare shooting death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman. In addition to facing malice murder and felony murder charges in connection with the death of her late husband, Sneiderman is also still facing charges for allegedly giving false statements to law enforcement officials, according to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. On Wednesday, an investigator with the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office testified that Andrea Sneiderman attempted to delete text messages and hide her relationship with Hemy Neuman, who was convicted of murdering her husband, Rusty Sneiderman, a CBS Atlanta report said. CBS Atlanta reports that the hearing that began yesterday is in recess until Wednesday, April 10. Andrea Sneiderman dropped a civil suit on Monday against her brother-in-law regarding statements he made that implicated her in her husband's shooting death, according to the AJC. Sneiderman was claiming libel, defamation and slander, among other things, against Steve Sneiderman, brother of her late husband, Rusty Sneiderman, who was shot to death outside a Dunwoody preschool in 2010. A judge has ruled that Andrea Sneiderman may have contact with a man that prosecutors say is her lover. Sneiderman will stand trial later this year for her alleged role in arranging the death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman. According to Channel 2 Action News, DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Gregory A. Adams issued the ruling late Tuesday afternoon. Sneiderman's attorneys argued their client was entitled to some type of companionship in advance of her trial, scheduled to begin July 29.
