Georgia's first full-service hotel to be built in five years is under construction just outside Dunwoody.
The Perimeter area's first full-service hotel to be built in more than two decades is under construction just outside Dunwoody's city limits. In an email to her constituents, District 1 Brookhaven city council member Rebecca Chase Williams reported that the 173-room Hyatt at Villa Christina is being built adjacent to the restaurant in Perimeter Summit and is scheduled for a March 2014 opening. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the hotel will include 20,000 square feet of meeting space. The media outlet also said the new Hyatt is Georgia's first full-service hotel to break ground in five years.
