Dunwoody Police Report More Auto Break-Ins
Police warn residents of new hotspots where people have been reporting auto break-ins.
Dunwoody Police reported Monday that there continue to be hotspots around the city where people are breaking into cars, after responding to five car break-ins last week. A vehicle theft attempt started at 6:40 a.m. Monday. Two males in dark clothing were reported to be standing by a car in the Sterling Condos area on Peachford Road. Both suspects fled when the homeowner who saw them turned on the living room light. Over the weekend, a "number of cars" were broken into on Dellrose Drive, Waterford Drive and Dunwoody Club Drive, police said. Happy Hollow Road in Sandy Springs was also hit.
