Old Hickory House Passes Health Reinspection
The restaurant passed two reinspections following a failing grade in September.
The popular Dunwoody restaurant Old Hickory House scored an "A" on DeKalb County reinspections of the restaurant, which followed a failed inspection Sept 19. The violations were cleared up on two inspections on Sept. 25 and Oct. 1. The restaurant scored a 100 on the Sept. 25 inspection and a 92 on an Oct. 1 visit, according to DeKalb County Health records. On the Oct. 1 follow-up inspection, the restaurant - located on 5490 Chamblee Dunwoody Road - scored a 92. The only violation found by inspectors that day were that utensils and linens were not properly stored and dried on the reinspection, according to the health inspection report.
