Man Killed for Evading Police in Dunwoody had Similar Charges in Cobb

Bradley Almy had a run-in with police last summer where he went to jail for evading police and suspicion of DUI.

Cobb County Sheriff's records show that the man who eluded police Wednesday night in Dunwoody was charged with a similar offense this summer that landed him in the Cobb County jail. The 34-year-old Marietta man also has been charged with two DUIs and has three separate incidents of arrest that show he has been booked into the Cobb jail. Bradley Almy was shot and killed Wednesday night by Dunwoody Police Sgt. Jason Dove after he led police on a chase that started at City Hall and ended on Perimeter Center East. Dove shot the man after he rammed cars and continued to try and elude police at the Ashford Dunwoody and Perimeter Center East intersection near Perimeter Mall, according to Dunwoody Police.
