Dining Out for Thanksgiving?
While many restaurants will close in observance of the holiday, some Dunwoody restaurants will be serving up special holiday platters to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Turkey anyone?
The American Thanksgiving Day tradition normally includes the three F's – food, family and football. The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions are the pigskin staples, families travel from near and far to be together and the food usually encompasses goodies like turkey, stuffing (or dressing depending on where you're from), sweet and mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. For those wanting to reap the Thanksgiving benefits while not working in the kitchen, a limited number of restaurants in the Dunwoody vicinity will be serving up traditional Thanksgiving dinners complete with all the foods you'd expect.
