Man Lifts Bubbly from Grocery Store (In His Pants)

Dunwoody PD are on the lookout for a man who stole $170 worth of champagne from the newly refurbished Kroger on Chamblee Dunwoody.

OUTSIDE ATLANTA, GA -- Alright, there's serious crime in Dunwoody. Bank robberies, burglaries, strong armed robberies, all the rest. This one, however, is just funny. On Friday, Aug. 10, (maybe because it was a date night or close to midnight)  a man is suspected of stealing two champagne bottles worth $170, Dunwoody PD say. Georgetown Kroger "Reopens" After Renovations

The Kroger at Georgetown Center has some new features like a sushi bar, expanded produce and and a cheese and olive bar ... and more.

Dunwoody's Kroger grocery store in Georgetown staged a grand reopening this week after some extensive renovations. The grocery store in the popular shopping spot Georgetown Center expanded its produce and natural food offerings, upgraded its meat and seafood departments and its deli and bakery, according to Kroger officials. The store's upscale deli now offers a bistro, a sushi bar, a cheese and olive shop an expanded kitchen set and "Chef on the Run," according to Kroger officials. The "Chef on the Run," offers homestyle fresh takeout for people that don't have time to cook. The store continue to be open for 24 hours. Click here for it's list of services.
