Dunwoody Residents Help Spearhead Central African School

Gary and Karen Chamblee are helping establish relations between the Greater Atlanta Christian School and the Rwandan government.

Two longtime Dunwoody residents are helping Greater Atlanta Christian School finalize plans for a new school in Rwanda. Gary and Karen Chamblee are helping the Norcross school establish the Central Africa School of Excellence in the African nation. Earlier this week, on Jan. 15, Rwandan president Paul Kagame received a delegation from the Greater Atlanta Christian School, led by Mike O’Neal, former president of Oklahoma Christian University. The delegation, which also included architects and engineers, was in the country to finalize plans for the school, which will be created in partnership with the Rwandan government.
