Dunwoody High School's varisty and junior varsity baseball begins next month. Varsity baseball kicks off on Tuesday, Feb. 19, against Chamblee, while junior varsity begins Feb. 22 against Kell. Baseball team has high expectations for season; drops first two to ranked teams
The Dunwoody High School baseball team, which enters the season with high expectations, failed to get a win this weekend in their first two games of the season. The first of two games in the Dugout Tournament put Dunwoody against the Milton Eagles, a team ranked in the Top 10 in the state’s AAAAA-class. The Dunwoody Wildcats started off strong Friday evening at Milton. In the top of the first inning, with two outs and three men on base, Jerric Johnson hit a grounder past the infield to score Stelen Stulberger. Harry Andros was thrown out at home plate to end the inning. It would be the Wildcats only run.
