Hands on Atlanta will commemorate the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks through service and volunteerism by presenting 9/11 Days of Service. The below are local events coordinated and Hands on Atlanta specifically for the Sept. 11 commemoration. 1. North DeKalb Mental Health Center North DeKalb Mental Health Center Date: Saturday, Sept. 10 Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The North DeKalb Mental Health Center provides outpatient mental health services and psychosocial rehabilitation services. During the 9/11 Days of Service, volunteers will paint activity rooms and offices throughout the facility. This project site is located in Chamblee and is wheelchair accessible.
