Two Burglary Suspects Arrested

A Dunwoody house was robbed while the owners were out of town.

Dunwoody Poilice issued arrest warrants Tuesday for two people that were charged with a residential burglary. Both are accused of entering a residence by force and stealing property from a Dunwoody home, which is a felony. The address of the residence was not stated by police. Boith of the suspects arrested were friends of the victim's son, according to police.

Attempted Break-In Has Dunwoody Police on the Hunt

The say that an attempted burglary Oct. 28 could have had a possible sexual motive. They are asking people for leads in the case.

Dunwoody Police are looking for a suspect that is wanted for attempted burglary and as a possible sexual predator. Police reported the hunt yesterday. On Oct. 28, at a little after midnight, the suspect attempted to enter a Dunwoody home, police say. The home was on Daventry Drive, according to sources. The resident heard a noise and came downstairs to check out, police said. She saw the suspect through the window. The man is believed to be in his mid 20s or early 30s. Police say the suspect has a possible sexual motive to the attempted break-in based on the hour and the fact the house was likely occupied. Burglary Reported in Dunwoody

Someone entered a residence on Pershonal Court Wednesday, according to police.

Dunwoody Police are reporting that a residential burglary occurred Wednesday on Pershonal Court. The incident occurred between 7:20 a.m. and 10:35 a.m. Wednesday. Update: Dunwoody Police Collar Burglars

A watchful neighbor gave Dunwoody PD a heads up Monday of a burglary in the Wyntercreek subdivision.

Dunwoody officers have had there hands full with burglary calls lately. One was foiled earlier this week by an alarm at Lakeside Drive. Another recent incident turned out to be a false burglary report after a painter entered a residence through a window along Mt. Vernon in the Warnock Cottage area and was mistaken for a prowler. He had forgotten his key. Midday Tuesday, officers responded to the real deal. Officers headed to an area reported as having suspicious people in the Wyntercreek subdivision on 5000 block of Meadowcreek Drive, police reported. Attempted Burglary at Lakeside Drive

Police say suspect likely abandoned crime after an alarm was set off.

Dunwoody Police reported an attempted burglary at a residence Thursday on Lakeside Drive near Windwood Hollow Park. Police say the suspect was likely scared off by a burglar alarm that was set off when a side door was attempted to be pried open. Police ask people to report even attempted burglaries like this one so that they can track suspcious activity in neighborhoods. Burglary at Dunwoody Crossing Home

A house was burglarized on Wednesday of $1,800 in electronics.

A burglary occurred Wednesday to a home on the 2300 block of Dunwoody Crossing, according to Dunwoody Police reports. The house was broken into via forced entry and $1,800 worth electronics were taken from the house, according to the report. The electronics include an X-Box, two laptops and a 40-inch flat screen TV that was valued at $500. The burglary occurred around 1 p.m., according to residents of the home.

Dunwoody Home Burglarized Friday Evening

A Dunwoody home was burglarized via forced entry sometime Friday night.

A Dunwoody home was burglarized Friday and more than $5,500 of electronics was taken from the home. Dunwoody police reports show that a residence on the 2200 block of Dunwoody Crossing was burglarized by forced entry. The incident was reported after 10 p.m. Friday. Taken from the residence - which is north of I-285 and near North Peachtree Road -  was a computer, two laptop computers, three televisions, a video game system, a DVD player, and video cameras, according to the police report.  Three residents live at the home, according to the police report.
