Weekender: Concert in the Park; Movie Night, Stand-up Comedy and More

See what's happening in Duwoody and nearby.

 

  • Concert in the Park. Bring a chair, blanket, and picnic dinner, and cool off with the hand crafted beers of Mother Earth Brewing at the Dunwoody Nature Center. Hear music performed by Already Taken and The 49 Sound. 7-9 p.m., Saturday. Free for members; $5 non-members; 3 students. 
  • Chris Kattan. The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member performs at The Punchline in Sandy Springs, through Sunday. Showtimes are 8-10 p.m., Friday; 6,8 and 10 p.m., Saturday, and 8 p.m., Sunday. $25.
  • Anti-Bullying Meeting. Come ready to hear stories, play games, meet new people, and build your support groups. If you would like to attend, please RSVP. 5 p.m., Saturday at Gyro Gyro, 5000 Winters Chapel Road.
  • Create a Vision Board. Hear and share success stories, and listen to a few great motivators that will help guide you in creating your Advance Vision Board. 5 p.m., Sunday at Total Wine, 121 Perimeter Center West. $18.
  • Movie Night – “Monsters Inc.” Bring the entire family for movie night in the gym at All Saints Catholic Church. Everyone is welcome. 7 p.m., Friday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. 2443 Mount Vernon Road.
