Weekend Planner: Butterfly Festival and Dunwoody UMC Foodstock

Check out what's happening in Dunwoody this weekend.

Butterfly Festival: On Saturday, August 17 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., the Dunwoody Nature Center brings the butterflies back to Dunwoody with its annual Butterfly Festival. Because of the popularity of last year's festival, this year's event will feature twice as many butterflies with two enormous tents - each filled with hundreds of live butterflies.

Boneheads Grand Re-opening; Meet Celebrity Chef: Celebrate the grand re-opening of Boneheads’ Perimeter location with Celebrity Chef Mark Miller. The first 50 attendees will receive a signature Mark Miller dish.  Bring your Mark Miller cookbook for signing! Saturday at 11 a.m. at 4511 Olde Perimeter Way #100. Free.

Fifth Annual TRMF Concert: The musical showcase "Look At Us Now!" benefits the Tim Redovian Memorial Fund and features past recipients of TRMF scholarships. Admission is free; a reception follows the show, which is being held Saturday at 7 p.m.

Piedmont Park Arts & Crafts Festival: The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces will  host its third annual arts and crafts  festival at Piedmont Park on August 17-18 in Midtown and it’s full of surprises!  Up to 250 artists and
artisans will display their works during this two-day event along paths in
the park.
