- Broadway Actor Billy Tighe performs in concert at 7 p.m., Monday, at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church. Tighe is Marietta, and an alumnus of the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts.
- Luncheon for Child Development Association. The mayors of Roswell, Alpharetta and Sandy Springs invite all business and civic leaders to a luncheon honoring the Child Development Association's 45th Birthday at noon, Wednesday, at the Country Club of the South.
- Learn about the Health Care Law. Hear from a panel of experts drawn from the AARP national office, the Department of Health and Human Services, and Jewish Family and Career Services to answer your questions. - Halloween Readings. Re-live the goose bumps, thrills and chills of the Golden Age of Radio as Drama at DUMC reads the radio classic, "From Dawn To Sunset" and other scary writings. 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday at Dunwoody United Methodist Church.
