Five Things To Do This Weekend is Patch's feature to let you know the best events going on in the area this weekend. We sift through the long list of things competing for your time to find the best ones. Go out and enjoy the weekend!

Wanna visit North Georgia wine country this weekend? The best part? It leaves from the Dunwoody MARTA station. The Georgia Wine Experience takes people for $99 a head on Saturday and Sunday to two wineries in Georgia on a bus with panoramic views. The trip includes free admission to wine-tasting rooms and a tour of the wineries and vineyards. Check out their website to see which wineries are planned this weekend. The trips depart at 10:00 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday 

Start the weekend early at The Marcus Jewish Community Center in Dunwoody. . "The Dive Into Shabbat" event begins 5 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m. The family-friendly event will have ice pop for the kids. Families are welcomed to bring a picnic or buy kosher food at the pool from Goodfriend's Grill. Shabbat prayers and blessings are scheduled at 6:15 p.m. 

Need some summer reading? . The sale is at the library and runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. 

There's live music Sunday at Meehan's Pub in Sandy Springs at To Gather Fest. The two-stage event will be held in CityWalk with 16 musicians. The event runs from noon to 8 p.m. All musicians are from Georgia.

The 5th annual Dunwoody Soap Box Derby is set for 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Check out a video from 2010's event. Activities around the races run all day. There's a spider jump, a bouncy house, and food from Knights of Columbus Grill.
