'Dunwoody at Dusk' Event Series Highlights Dunwoody Businesses

Get ready for a new way to spend your Friday nights this summer in Dunwoody. The Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Dunwoody (CVBD), is launching “Dunwoody at Dusk,” a new monthly series of Friday night events showcasing Dunwoody’s shopping districts and local businesses.

The kick-off event for the series is May 17 from 5:30 until 9 p.m., at Park Place Shopping Center on Ashford Dunwoody Road across from Perimeter Mall. The event runs every third Friday from May through August.

Attendees will be able to enjoy live entertainment, shopping and dining specials, food tastings and samples, promotions and discounts from Park Place’s merchants and restaurants. The event will go on rain or shine.

“Dunwoody at Dusk is intended to expose people to the different shopping centers and businesses that anchor our city,” said Debbie Fuse, executive director of the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce, in a Dunwoody Crier article.

“So many new businesses, including a number of great new restaurants, have opened in Dunwoody within the past year. Dunwoody at Dusk provides a great opportunity to explore and to learn about the businesses that make Dunwoody Atlanta’s most desirable place to work and live,” Fuse said.

A few sponsorship opportunities, including stage and music sponsorships, along with promotional marketing and business logo placements, still remain for the series.
