Nearly 50 Kids Turn Out for Dunwoody Bike Rodeo

Courtesy Joe Seconder

Around 50 children and their parents came out to Brook Run Park on Saturday, a beautiful fall day, to participate in City of Dunwoody Parks and Recreation Department's Children's Bicycle Safety Rodeo.

Many thanks to Parks and Recreation Director Brent Walker, Sgt. Furman and the Explorers of the Dunwoody Police Department, Brandi Whitney with the DeKalb County Board of Health and other volunteers from the Dunwoody Women's Club and Dunwoody Cycling. Also thanks to Performance Bike and Free-Flite Bicycles for providing bike techs to perform bicycle inspections. We'll do it again in Spring, 2014!
