Football is Here (You Know You're Excited)

State powerhouse Tucker and Cedar Grove are the headline matchup. Starts at 7:30 p.m. at Hallford Stadium

Dunwoody football has an off week for opening weekend, but there is plenty of DeKalb gridiron action to enjoy, according to Marck Brock, sports information director with the schools.

Powerhouse AAAAA-state champs Tucker and Cedar Grove open the weekend. The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. at Clarkston's Hallford Stadium.

Cedar Grove's Tigers’ offense is led by preseason Class AAAAA, All-State quarterback Juwaan Williams - so there's that to compete with. Also, running back Yusuf Minor joined Williams on the All-State team last year.

Cedar Grove is No. 2 - so this will be no cakewalk for either team.
