The MLKDay5k provides the opportunity for Atlanta area schools, churches, community organizations and businesses to use the race as a fundraiser for their community-oriented initiatives.
For each runner/walker who signs up to run the MLKDay5K, and specifies the particpiating team/organization of their choice, the team/organization will receive $5.00.
Dunwoody and Sandy Springs area teams/organizations include: Andee's Army and the Dunwoody High School Math Team.

The 5K walk/run will start and finish at the Shops Around Lenox parking lot.
Enjoy Grady High School’s Band and North Atlanta High School’s Center for the Arts Percussionists lining the race course and a post race party including music and events celebrating MLK Day.
