Duwnoody defeats Alcovy in Scrimmage
The Friday test on the gridiron gave some fans a preview of the upcoming season Aug. 31.

DHS defeated Alcovy 13-10 in a preseason scrimmage game Friday. Scrimmages are more or less glorified practices in full gear, so there's little to draw from in terms of play - but a win is a win.

Keep an eye out for the Sept. 21 date with Tucker, the regning AAAA state champs. That game will be held at North DeKalb Stadium at 7:30 p.m., so mark your calendars.
