DeKalb Holiday Basketball Tournament Starts Saturday

Seventh annual event will by hosted by Arabia Mountain and Clarkston and includes Dunwoody's girls team.

Arabia Mountain and Clarkston high schools play hosts to the 2012-13 DeKalb County School District Holiday Tournament beginning with first round action on Saturday, Dec. 15.

Dunwoody High School girls' basketball will play in a tilt against North Druid Hills at Arabia Mountain High School.

Eight girls’ teams and eight boys’ teams will compete in championship and consolation brackets with each team to play at least two games.

Teams competing include the following Arabia Mountain (boys and girls), Chamblee (boys and girls), Clarkston (boys and girls), Druid Hills (boys
and girls), Dunwoody (girls), Lithonia (boys), McNair (boys and girls),
Meadowcreek (girls), Towers (boys and girls) and Stone Mountain (boys)

Play continues with second round action on Friday, Dec. 21 with the championship and consolation finals set for Saturday, Dec. 22 at Arabia Mountain High School.

First Round at Clarkston
(G) Chamblee vs. Towers, 2:30 p.m.
(B) Chamblee vs. Towers, 4 p.m.
(G) Meadowcreek vs. Clarkston, 5:30 p.m.
(B) Stone Mountain vs. Clarkston, 7 p.m.

First Round at Arabia Mountain
(G) Druid Hills vs. Dunwoody, 2:30 p.m.
(B) Druid Hills vs. Lithonia, 4 p.m.
(G) McNair vs. Arabia Mountain, 5:30 p.m.
(B) McNair vs. Arabia Mountain, 7 p.m.
