Thurmond Talks Dunwoody Cluster Charter Schools

The interim school superintendent spoke to DeKalb's legislative delegation on Monday, and field a question from a local lawmaker about charter schools in Dunwoody.


DeKalb Interim School Superindendent Michael Thurmond spoke to DeKalb's legislative delegation on Monday, according to Heneghan's Dunwoody Blog.

Dunwoody state Sen. Fran Millar asked Thurmond about the the possibility of charter cluster control. Thurmond replied that one person is running 104 schools and that regional superintendents need to be able to make more decisions.Β
