According to an email from Principal Johnathan Clark, early Thursdya morning officials noticed the issues with the water supply.

"We were made aware that some activity had occurred in the community with the Fire Department where some sediment may have entered the water supply and caused this discoloration," he wrote in the email.

"Additional measures were taken to boil and maintain a certain temperature of any water that was used for cooking breakfast," Clark wrote. "The water from the drinking fountains never indicated any discoloration or appeared to be affected.  The water was cleared very early in the stages this morning before we finished our testing and did not impact the CRCT Testing or your children."
