School Notes: Shop Target and Support DHS

Enroll and receive a Target REDcard for cash back and as a way to support Dunwoody High School.

Did you know you could support Dunwoody High School by with the purchase you make at Target?

Dunwoody PTSO members have been publicizing the unique program. Here's how it works.

Enroll for a Target REDcard. Recieve it and do your shoppng. The cardholder receives 5 percent cashback on all in-store and onine purchases and Target donates 1 percent to DHS.

You can sign up at the local Target or do it online or call 1-800-316-6142. The program is called "Take Charge Of Education." You need to select Dunwoody High School as the recipient.

In September, the school recived $1,000 from the program. The check could be bigger for December purchases considering the holiday shopping.

So far only 6 percent of thw school's parents are signed up for the card. Apparently, the card can be a debit card if you don't want another credit card.
