Interim Head Named for Georgia Perimeter College

Rob Watts will replace Anthony Tricoli as president of Georgia Perimeter College

Rob Watts will replace Anthony Tricoli, former president of , on an interim basis, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Watts will lead the system starting Monday.

Tricoli stepped down from the top spot and was reassigned after news that the college, with a campus in Dunwoody, faces a $16 million shortfall that could lead to staff cuts and other cost-saving measures.

The decision to name Watts was made this week at a Board of Regents meeting, which didn't discuss the college's financial shortfall, the AJC reports. Georgia Perimeter College has a 27,000-student enrollment.
