Georgia Perimeter College President Steps Down
Two-year college faces a $16 million budget shortfall, but the system's schools do not plan to raise tuition.
Georgia Perimeter College President Anthony Tricoli left his post after news that the junior college faces a $16 million budget shortfall, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Students will not pay higher tuition and fees to make up for the shortfall, Chancellor Hank Huckaby wrote in a letter obtained by the AJC.
Georgia Perimeter is the state's third largest public college, with nearly 27,000 students taking classes at sites in Dunwoody, Alpharetta, Clarkston, Covington and Decatur.
