Freshman Orientation Thursday at DHS

The event at Dunwoody High School is a half-day orientation that gives incoming students a chance to meet teachers and coaches.

A welcome workshop for incoming freshman at Dunwoody High School is planned from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m Thursday.

The "Wildcat Welcome" event will include an introduction to the high school, a scavenger hunt so students can get familiar with the campus, a spirit video in the auditorium, and a chance to meet coaches and teachers and receive locker assignments.

Wildcat spirit gear will be available for parents to purchase and parents can join the PTSO an pay dues at the event.

Students who can't attend the orientation can go through a freshman registration August 8.
