Mary Hines, Master Gardener, will teach you important methods to keep those pesky pests away. Learn how to use crop rotation, companion planting, garden maintenance and organic products to control insects of the lawn in your ornamental landscape and vegetable garden. Mary will show you the most common pests (insects, fungi, bacteria, animals, viruses, etc.) of the garden and how to identify them; how to deter pests, how to select the best organic pesticide and to apply it properly; and knowing when to use chemical pesticides.
