Thurmond Tells Dunwoody Residents, 'We Will Keep Accreditation'

DeKalb's interim school superintendent met with the Dunwoody Homeowners Association on Sunday night.

DeKalb Interim School Superintendent Michael Thurmond told the Dunwoody Homeowners Association that the system will do whatever it takes to maintain its accreditation.

Thurmond met with about 100 parents and Dunwoody officials on Sunday night. The meeting was held at the Kingsley Racquet & Swim Club, according to the Reporter Newspapers.

Thurmond was originally set to appear before the association's board of directors last weekend, but travel plans conflicted with his scheduled appearance.
