The ‘Clean Sweep Candidates’ Want to Shake up Dunwoody City Council

Together they believe that they can be more effective in handling Dunwoody development and projects. Tell us what you think?

Henly Shelton, Jim Riticher and Sam Eads had a strategy when they came together as the ‘Clean Sweep’ City Council candidates. Together they believe that they can be more effective, Eads said.

“What I realized was you’ve got to do something in the city and it's not going to really help much to have one new person up there,” said Eads. “Especially now that Adrian’s [Bonser] not running. And she’s the one that kind of holds them accountable - the city management accountable. If she’s gone and we only have one more person in there, it’s kind of status quo. We really need to shake things up, and to do that we really need three candidates.”

Eads is running for the District 3 seat against incumbent Doug Thompson. Shelton is running in District 1 against Denis Shortal, and Jim Riticher is running for Bonser’s District 2 seat.
