Sunday alcohol sales in DeKalb headed for approval
Voters are overwhelmingly supporting referendum
A measure to allow alcohol sales on Sunday in unincorporated DeKalb County was on its way to being approved by resounding numbers, according to DeKalb County election results.
The measure has garnered 72.34 percent approval with 27.66 percent against, according to unofficial results.
DeKalb County was reporting that 126 out of 189 precincts had been tallied, according to election officials.

Dunwoody voters overwhelmingly approved alcohol sales in the city in early November. The local referendum was approved by nearly 80 percent of the city's voters.
Alcohol became available at retailers in Dunwoody the first week of December.
