State Rep. Taylor Talks About a Dunwoody School System

The Dunwoody lawmaker was recently interviewed on Star 94.


Heneghan's Dunwoody Blog recently reported that state Rep. Tom Taylor was interviewed on Star 94 about the possibility that Dunwoody could soon create its own school system.

The interview can be heard here.

His proposal would call for an amendment to the state Constitution, he said, and would be voted on during next year's legislative session. If approved, the public would vote on the referendum later in the year.

DeKalb's school system is currently under probation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
