Owe Court Fees? Dunwoody Offering Amnesty Program

The City of Dunwoody Municipal Court is holding an amnesty program for people with past-due traffic citations or active bench warrants for failing to appear in court.

From a news release:

The City of Dunwoody Municipal Court is holding an amnesty program for people with past-due traffic citations or active bench warrants for failing to appear in court. The incentive of the program is to promote lawful driving privileges, settle outstanding violations with the court and reduce arrests. 

Amnesty will run throughout June and July at the Dunwoody Municipal Court, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 103, in Dunwoody.

Individuals may walk-in to the Municipal Court on Mondays, as well as Wednesday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. only, no exceptions. 

During the amnesty period, if someone pay their fines in full, all contempt fees will be forgiven. If the individual’s offense(s) requires a mandatory court appearance, the person will be granted a future court date to appear before a judge and all warrants will be cleared and warrant fees forgiven.

Payments may be made in cash, money order, cashier checks, and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard only); no personal checks will be accepted.
