"Mistakes" with tax dollars could hit Dunwoody High School
A $41 million shortfall of DeKalb schools local option sales tax could halt 35 building projects, including Dunwoody
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that DeKalb County schools could halt 35 school building projects in the planning phase, including ongoing renovations at Dunwoody High School.
The reason: mismanagement of more than $41 million in tax dollars. The shortfall mostly involves management of the last special purpose local options sales tax, or SPLOST.
The SPLOST was was to generate $513 million from 2007 through August.
