Homeowners Stop Construction at Brook Run Park

A DeKalb judge issued a temporary restraining order against a trail days before construction was set to begin.

The multi-use trail at Brook Run Park that was headed toward construction will be halted, at least temporarily, by a homeowner court action, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

A DeKalb County Superior Court Judge granted a temporary restraining order Thursday.

The basis of the homeonwer petition is the potential water runoff from a planned 12-foot concrete trail that creates more impervious surface and require tree cutting to build.

The petition was granted days before the city was set to start construction on the trail

Dunwoody has been a most dysfunctional city since it was established and has had a constant sream of bad press. We need to vote out all of the council members and hire a new city manager and it needs to be people who have NOTHING to do with the beloved DHA. We don`t need our own school system, fire department, or any other governmental entity to be formed until we clean up all of these problems. City councilmen promoting illegal activities on their blog, paying Chatcomm to answer calls for more money than if we called Dekalb directly, $100,000 for city council investigations, a polce deprtment that botched a major murder investigation, crime out of control, a proposed roundabout that may speed up traffic, but endanger the children that walk to school everyday, not to mention that Dekalb has not agreed to give up any of its school property for this project nor has the council even thought about that. The people are getting fed up and we need to petition the Ga. Attorney General to step in and monitor our government until it is straightened/voted out!

Well, I see on the WSB news today that Mr. Hirsch won a legal battle against the city of Dunwoody to adopt a part of Ashford Dunwoody Road. The city is having to pay him and his attorney because the city was in the wrong....AGAIN! Thanks city council, we really appreciate your efforts!

The best thing that could happen to Dunwoody is for J. Max Davis to have is office in our city limits...No Comparison!
