Homeowners Stop Construction at Brook Run Park

A DeKalb judge issued a temporary restraining order against a trail days before construction was set to begin.

The multi-use trail at Brook Run Park that was headed toward construction will be halted, at least temporarily, by a homeowner court action, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

A DeKalb County Superior Court Judge granted a temporary restraining order Thursday.

The basis of the homeonwer petition is the potential water runoff from a planned 12-foot concrete trail that creates more impervious surface and require tree cutting to build.
