GDOT to Close Southbound Ga. 400 Lanes
Nearby Dunwoody: Lane closures are needed overnight during construction on a pedestrian bridge.

If you plan to drive on Ga. 400 next week between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., be prepared to slow down for lane closures underneath the MARTA Buckhead pedestrian bridge that's under construction.
The lane closures are needed to accommodate bridge deck patching and sign installation.

The southbound lanes will be closed from Monday, Jan. 27-Saturday, Feb. 1 by the Ga. Department of Transportation between mile markers 2 and 3.

Monday, Jan. 27: Right lane of Ga. 400
Tuesday, Jan. 28: Right lane of Ga. 400
Wednesday, Jan. 29: Right lane of Ga. 400
Thursday, Jan. 30: Two left lanes of Ga. 400 to remove overhand decking, patch bridge deck and set "MARTA" sign
Friday, Jan. 31: Two left lanes of Ga 400
Saturday, Feb. 1: Two left lanes of Ga 400
The Ga. 400 pedestrian bridge project includes:
- A new entrance on the north end of the existing Buckhead Station
- Pedestrian bridge over north and southbound lanes of GA 400
- An elevator/stair tower, sidewalk, and bridge connection on the east side of GA 400
- Sidewalk access to elevated walkway from Tower Place to connect to the bridge on the west side of GA 400
