Dunwoody to Honor Veterans

Veterans Day has different meaning for various people - but we're all Americans who have benefited from the sacrifice of our citizens who have served in the Armed Forces. Come out Monday to honor them.

A war in Afghanistan. Soldiers abroad in Iraq. There's a lot to be thoughtful for and thankful for on Veterans Day - Monday.

The city of Dunwoody is holding a ceremony out at Brook Run Park, in all its fall regalia, at the veteran's memorial near the front entrance of the park coming from North Peachtree Road.

The event is to pay homage to all who are serving currently in dangerous places around the world and to honor those who have served in past wars and conflicts.
