Dunwoody Nature Center to hold fundraiser
Annual fundraiser to auction dinners, wine tasting and local getaways
The Dunwoody Nature Center is having its annual fundraiser on April 21 to support the programs and operation of the center.
and organizers are expecting up to 175 guests.
Part of the attraction of the event is a chance to tour the Hall, an English, Tudor-style home in Sandy Springs that was built by Atlanta banker and businessman Thomas Glenn.

The other attraction is the live and silent auctions that will offer a variety of things to bid on. The live auction will be called by Sen. Fran Millar.
The auctions will include dinners at area restaurants and local outings to Zoo Atlanta and the Center for the Puppetry Arts.

Vacations will also be up for bid. The nature center will be auctioning trips to Amelia Island, New Smyrna Beach and Lake Lanier. There’s also wine tasting outings and a girlfriends’ getaway package.
One of the more lavish packages is a three-night vaction to Dreams Carribean Resort.
The event is the center’s biggest fundraiser, with proceeds supporting conservation efforts and educational programming throughout the year. The nature center serves 25,000 people each year at its Roberts Drive location.
