Dunwoody Hosts a Household Waste Disposal Day

The city and the sustainability commission will host the disposal day in the morning of Dec. 15 at GPC in Dunwoody.

The city is hosting a household waste disposal day on Dec. 15 at the Georgia Perimeter College - Dunwoody campus.

Household hazardous wastes like aerosols, adhesives and resins can be thrown out safely by bringing them to the campus. You don't want to throw them out in your regular garbage service because of the potentially harmful effects to the environment.

The cleanup day is backed by the city and the city's sustainability commission.

The disposal runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the college located at 2101 Womack Road.
