Dunwoody Council Retreat Will Look at Long-Term Goals/Issues

Meeting will be held all day today at the Atlanta Perimeter Hotel

 

Dunwoody's City Council will spend all day Friday in a conference room at the Atlanta Perimeter Hotel, setting priorities for the city, looking at the city's finances and police department, and setting expectations for the council and city staff.

Among some of the long-term planning items on the agenda are developing the boundary areas with neighboring cities, a discussion of fire services, a discussion of park improvements and a look at the city hall's location and future funding.

The day will begin with breakfast at 7 a.m. and the meeting will be called to order at 8 a.m.

According to the special called meeting agenda, which was posted by the city Thursday morning (Councilman John Heneghan posted the agenda on his personal blog on Wednesday), the council will be discussing:
