Construction on Mt. Vernon Will Slow Traffic on Weekdays

The extensive - and controversial project - to repave, build sidewalks and install bike lanes on this stretch of roadway is moving forward.

No surprise to Dunwoody motorists in the know here – construction will be ongoing for Mt. Vernon and Chamblee Dunwoody roads bike lanes.

The construction is slated to be completed by contractor Johnson Landscapes on Mt. Vernon between Lisa Lane to Ashford Dunwoody Road.

New sidewalks will be built on the south side of Mt Vernon. Bike lanes and repaving are all a part of the project.
