City of Dunwoody Hosts Inaugural Accounting Conference

Conference runs through the week at City Hall

The City of Dunwoody kicked off its inaugural Accounting Conference Monday, welcoming more than 170 accountants from all over the Southeast to Dunwoody City Hall.

The conference runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day through Friday, June 10, and will cover topics including best practices, occupational tax law, and capital assets.

The conference will promote professional development and the growth of analytical expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, compliance, change management and the use of information technology. In today’s challenging economy, these skills are required by companies, institutions and governments, all sectors where accountants are employed.
