Citizens for Dunwoody to Hold Public Meetings on Parks Referendums

Group will hold 14 meetings between now and Nov. 8

Citizens for Dunwoody, a local group of citizens, will be holding 14 public information sessions on Dunwoody's two parks bond referendums set for the Nov. 8 ballot.

The , would be used individually for acquiring park property and improving the city's current parks.

Each bond is worth about .75 mills, which adds about $30 in property tax for each $100,000 in home value.

One or more representatives from the City will be present to help answer questions at three of the meetings as indicated.

  • Branches Clubhouse, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4.

  • Dunwoody United Methodist Men’s Group, 7:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.

  • Fountainbleau Clubhouse, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.
  • Kingsley Clubhouse, 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16.
  • Kingswood United Methodist Church, 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16.
  • Georgia Perimeter College Auditorium (City representative(s) present), 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, prior to DHA candidates’ forum.
