A Voter Guide to The Primary

Early voting starts Monday in Chamblee, view a sample ballot and check locations for other early voting places.

It's crunch time. There's a little more than a week left to vote on the region's transportation tax, DeKalb CEO and DeKalb Commissioner's seat. Β 

If you've already made up your mind about the races and referendums, you can cast your ballot in the north part of the county starting Monday.

Polling opens for at 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday through Friday at Chamblee City Hall at 5468 Peachtree Road.

Here's some more information about early voting.

July 23-27: Additional sites for early voting will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Check locations for DeKalb County here.

July 9-27: Advance voting begins at the DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections main office, 4380 Memorial Drive, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

July 14 and 21: Saturday voting at the Voter Registration and Elections main office.

July 31: Primary held, with polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Redistricting: Because of redistricting, some voters may find themselves in new congressional and state House and Senate districts. They may even end up going to a new polling place. To figure out what districts you now live in, go to the "My Voter Page" part of the Georgia Secretary of State webpage.
