A Voter Guide to the July Primary

Voters can cast their ballots as early as Monday at the county's main voting office in Decatur.

It's crunch time. There's a little more than a week left to vote on the region's transportation tax, DeKalb CEO and DeKalb Commissioner's seat.

If you've already made up your mind about the races and referendums, you can cast your ballot in the north part of the county starting Monday.

Polling opens for at 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday through Friday at Chamblee City Hall at 5468 Peachtree Road.

Here's some more information about early voting.

July 23-27: Additional sites for early voting will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Check locations for DeKalb County here.

July 9-27: Advance voting begins at the DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections main office, 4380 Memorial Drive, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

July 14 and 21: Saturday voting at the Voter Registration and Elections main office.

July 31: Primary held, with polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Redistricting: Because of redistricting, some voters may find themselves in new congressional and state House and Senate districts. They may even end up going to a new polling place. To figure out what districts you now live in, go to the "My Voter Page" part of the Georgia Secretary of State webpage.

For information: Go to the DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections webpage. You also can find sample ballots on the webpage.
